Nothing short of Fucking Large, but much prefer the breaking up track.

In response to my comment on November 16th 2015, Neil Trix commented below, (Thanks for commenting Neil) Nobody is suggesting anyone is lying, but i am simply making it very clear that all of the pressings i officially paid for had NO labels on them. Any copies that have a label were never pressed, or paid for by myself apart from the 10x TP's delivered for approval. Back in the early 90's there was no internet (like we have today) and communication with record stores was minimal, this was left to the distributors, knowing a potential problem was happening was hard to confirm. You seem to be approaching this from the completely wrong angle.... Maybe the distributor pressed some without my knowledge, maybe the record plant did, maybe the mastering house who had the metalwork did... who knows.. who cares...i dont... If you were pressing / selling vinyl back then you would be aware of the goings on.Thanks.So Neil is saying the test presses of which there are 10 have labels on them, so the Discography notes on this page http://www.discogs.com/FBD-Project-Breakin-Up-The-Core/release/203855 are wrong as they state the test presses have no labels, different to what Neil has said. Learn something new everyday. So infact we have ended up with alot of new information and indeed questions about the test presses because if Neil never took the labels off these, and he hasn't said he did, then what is a test press and what isn't among the unofficial bootlegs? Potentially you could also take the label off your unofficial copy and claim it was an Official copy!! So it would seem there is more to this, it would have been nice if Neil confirmed how many Official presses were pressed too but hey ho, not to worry. like i say, learn something new everyday.

It's all weird isn't it. My copy has white (not pinkish) labels. I definitely bought it when it came out (if it came out!). I vividly recall playing it at a free party in a derelict bungalow in the New Forest in the same set that I played Valley of the Shadows and Tango and Fallout, which were both newish at the time. Bit of a shame if Neil never got anything for the pressing and sale of these, but I suppose that was far from a rare thing either!
Sat
I have exactly the same pink TP. And def bought in 93!

Perhaps Neil Trix could enlighten us some more as you could purchase the copies with the Pink Label one side and the White Label on the other side back in 1993..If you look at some of the replies to the comments listed here Breakin Up / The Core ‎(12", W/Lbl, Unofficial) a few people confirm that too..If these where unofficialy pressed back in 93 then Neil Trix must have an idea where they came from?..My copy is exactly as i have described here and the etchings in the run out groove are the same as woodyglobaluk announces, they are not freshly etched either and age can be seen also in the labels. It would be good Neil if you could clarify if you think these copies were pressed later than 1993 because people were purchasing these particular presses from record shops at that time!! I certainly do not think that these presses are a recent addition, furthermore VINYL2GO-JUNGLE on this site is selling a copy and claiming this is from DJ Phantasy's collection..There is no reason to believe that VINYL2GO-JUNGLE is lying, so with that said DJ Phantasy was a Bootleg vinyl buyer back in 1993, is that what we are saying?!! There should be more clarification as to the origins of these so called Bootlegs as it seems a rather grey area, i remember Bootleg remixes from back in the day which were happening real time such as the Edge Of Darkness/ Jonny L Come Together and Hurt You So Bootleg Mixes but real time Bootlegs of a tune just released?? Why was there no recall of these either Neil if you were aware of them??WEIRD!!!!!Incidentally how many copies of the black no label (Official) vinyl's were pressed?More questions than answers!!!

Hi Neil,I’ve actually got 3 of these. Different tunes. I bought them at the time in good faith.I’ve played them against the official ones and they are identical. Must have been same plates and same vinyl. It’s gutting to read that this was a scam as I genuinely thought I had 3 TPs. I’m pretty sure I bought them in a shop too.Great records tho.

Please don't go throwing around Accusations and Insinuations and not expect me to stand up for myself and i'm not ranting at all? Neil's comments have helped me to realise and i guess other people realise what is dodgy and what is not with regard to what he had pressed officially and that which he never..I think you are the one who is obsessed with this, I never suggested Dj Phantasy was playing Bootlegs, i said "Are we saying that Dj Phantasy was playing Bootlegs not Dj Phantasy WAS playing Bootlegs, Read it again and absorb it properly! Neil advised he had 10 Test Presses Officialy Pressed, the only Pressings With Labels, so we learned Dj Phantasy's copy was a Test Press and that there are 9 other Official Test Presses or not as some may have been damaged etc, floating around out there, i never knew that and neither did you! Discogs didn't either and since this is a place for submitting and adding info for those that are interested etc then i deem that useful, fair enough if you find it useless, that's your opinion which your entitled too but i know more from what Neil has said than i did before by inquiring! Again my comments were edited to further clarify as i didn't think i'd explained myself clear enough and for no other reason Mr Conspiracy Theorist! Bit of a S**T STIRRER really aren't you? and anyway Mr Immaculate, you edited your posts, the ones where you were insulting me, remember! Im not angry, honestly, you seem to be though, you feeling ok?May i suggest that you politely leave it as you seem to be the one who has an infatuation with it all, ive posted what ive posted and that's that, don't like it then tough but you don't speak for me or anyone else who may have found what i said and what Neil has said as being useful, why you keep insulting me for what i have found out and posted is beyond me?Oh and i'm a Lunatic you say? Lol...Honestly buddy, sort yourself out, from my point of view that's exactly how you are coming across!I'm not going to reply to you anymore despite what you might say as your bringing me down to your level...As they say.." Never Argue With An Idiot, They Will Only Bring You Down To Their Level And Beat You With Experience"
Androwyn
The guy is ranting and has edited every single post he has made, he started off making some ridiculous assumptions and insinuating A list DJs were playing bootlegs, asking the artist why he wasn't doing anything about it. etc. etc. Threatening me and dreaming of some real life physical encounter. He is still ranting about it and typing angry messages like a lunatic months later, none of what he has said, even after all his edits, is helpful in any way to someone who wants to buy a copy of this record. I'm politely suggesting again that he just lets it go!

I Disagree, So Do The People Who Found It Helpful, What's Your Offering? And My Posts Were Edited To Make Clear And To Further Clarify.Perhaps You Should Edit Your Post, Your Grammar Is Terrible!...
Kelerana
You've edited virtually every post you've made..... and will you please just leave this now, it's agonising and really to no use to anyone, not a buyer or seller or anyone at all.
Danskyleyn
Haven't threatened you at all, Talking personally is far more conducive than typing over the net, i disagree with you too, Neil has confirmed the bootlegs, to quote Neil.. " I am simply making it very clear that all of the pressings i officially paid for had NO labels on them. Any copies that have a label were never pressed, or paid for by myself apart from the 10x TP's delivered for approval".... So with that said why do the notes on Discogs say that the test presses have no labels on??http://www.discogs.com/FBD-Project-Breakin-Up-The-Core/release/203855 Neil has said the test presses had labels. The information therefore on Discogs is wrong then, so infact we have ended up with alot of new information and indeed questions about the test presses because if Neil never took the labels off these, and he hasn't said he did, then what is a test press and what isn't among the unofficial bootlegs? Potentially you could also take the label off your unofficial copy and claim it was an Official copy!! So it would seem there is more to this, it would have been nice if Neil confirmed how many Official presses were pressed too but hey ho. I also see you edited your post, you know, the part where you called me a prat, inflammatory indeed.
Alianyau
For all your speculation and suggestions of wrongdoing (this is all in your original post)... we've ended up with no new information at all and there's been no need for you to have questioned ANYTHING in the first place, no wonder there's more questions than answers.... now you want to threaten me with a physical personal interaction over it. Switch off for a sec mate, you need to back away from the computer Tangee.

Watch who your calling a berk, i miss read what you said, i was asking for clarification from Neil, i didn't ask you to butt in, and what with the Phantasy thing, again, what the hell are you going on about!! If Phantasy had a white in his collection as VINYL2GO said the copy he was selling was from Phantasy's collection, and as Neil said all those label copies were not official then you could be forgiven for thinking it may have been a bootleg but re reading what Neil said he mentions the x10 test presses had labels on them so its possible then Phantasy had a test press? Talking of inflammatory, isnt that what your comments are (xnationdnb edited his post and removed the part where he called me a prat) to be honest i couldn't give a damn what you think, your a mug,Your the one making a big deal of it chief, i hope i bump into you one day, that way we can discuss it personally, and it's inflammatory not infammatory..
Usishele
Your coming across as the one making a big deal out of it xnationdnb.
Mr_KiLLaURa
I said you insinuated 'someone' was lying, and you did, read your own words in your first post you berk lol. If you didn't why would Neil be clarifying he didn't lie? You also coming with some "is Phantasy playing bootlegs' unnecessary infammatory comments. You making a big deal about nothing really tbh.
Cheber
I wasn't suggesting Neil was lying? how did you come to that conclusion? i was hoping Neil would respond and set the record straight as clearly i wasn't the only person who was wondering about the authenticity of the other presses. If you read my comment i suggested that a part of your comment was useless, and i have clarified that part, so i did work it out as you so put it, it would seem however you have not grasped that, if your on my back for my response then check your own. i also never got moody.Im done responding to you mate, your boring me.
Wrathmaster
Neil had already said they were a bootleg run and you were questioning him, you were insinuating someone must be lying yada yada. You also telling Neil 'no need to get funny mate' I replied with what I thought were helpful comments on how it might be possible for a bootleg to be pressed and it not be able to be 'recalled' (which you couldn't work out), then you got moody for me trying to help..... seems like you are rubbing ppl up the wrong way, intentionally or not, perhaps an apology might be in order?
Kashicage
To be honest chap i was asking Neil Trix for confirmation of the situation with the bootlegs and how many Official pieces of vinyl were pressed, also i offered other little snippets of information, no accusations here, you just responded to the piece that you was able to answer and also saying "If Neil says they were an unofficial bootleg run then they were" That part of your statement was a bit lame i thought as apparently while being interviewed Neil himself had said that the white labels etc were bootlegs, a Discogs user said this in a post/review, it was that information posted by that Discogs user that got me searching for the interview but i couldn't find this interview anywhere so i put down all i knew etc on here hoping that Neil would respond. Anyway Neil explained the situation which is very interesting as there are a few pressings of this purchased back in the day with both white and pink labels on each side and just white labels on each side. The information supplied by Neil helps people if they are purchasing this piece of vinyl and want a genuine Official Press, they can feel safe in the knowledge that it is so and that other pieces unless also officially licensed by Neil himself are in fact unofficial.I wasn't being hostile or aggressive but i thought part of your statement was obvious if you'd read what another Discogs user had already posted and unfounded if you didn't know any solid information with regard to the presses in question, the only person to be able to answer that with any authority and certainty was Neil himself, to which he has, i was simply responding to your flippant reply, as i am now.All the Breast!!!!!!
Diab
Hardly useless, Neil just said virtually the same thing, not sure why you are so hostile and aggy with everyone Tangee, take a chill pill bro happy new year :)
Armin
Hello there, didn't realise you were a spokesman for Neil.. all i was doing is inquiring mate, that's all..Thanks for your useless input though.
hardy
No need to get funny mate, i wasnt, i was just inquiring as there wasn't any solid information as such on Discogs with reference to the supposed bootlegs, you've cleared that up now although you haven't mentioned how many of the Official pressings were pressed? that'd be nice to know, like you say though, who cares, you don't!
Yggdi

If an unknown person presses up a run and then distributes themselves or via an unknown distributor, how would he ever be able to recall them? If Neil says they were an unofficial bootleg run, then they were.
melody of you

reminds me of zero b lock up ,i was talking to the promotor at roller express when zero b came on and he laughed said people thought there were only 500 copies of it but a few bootleg runs of 500 at a time had been done on it cos it was popular, identical to the official ones
Conjukus
are you shure pink label is unofficial?
Coirad
I highly doubt it. I'm calling BS on this one.
Gholbimand
My copy of this has the pink label both sides too. I don't know when these bootlegs were supposed to have been pressed but my copy of this was purchased back in late 93, start of 94 from the old ruby red records shop in wolverhampton.
