Uaha
I see there is a lot of problems here on pressing quality, here my suggestion ask the seller where they got it from, and how long they owned it. From reading comments its seems the people like me who got the album in the early days when it come out have no issues (single vinyl copy). Mine come from if i remember a uk internet record shop either Hard2find Records or JUNO. But again bought around the time it was released or within the year. The problems seem to arrise after when the represses come about. I have no idea how to tell but mine has ''parent advisory'' printed on front and is NOT A STICKER and is also SMALL in size on the bottom RIGHT side (same as images). Try to aim for that as a way to identify the ''good sounding pressing''.Cheers DJKIDC
Auau
Sounds nice! Decent sound stage. full sound. Clean pressing and at a good price!
Goodman
Terrible experience with QC here. Bought my copy brand new and sealed. To my horror, the record I found inside was covered with scratches, marks, fingerprints (some of them "embedded" in the vinyl, the record has probably been handled still hot and soft), and even marks of a greasy substance which simply cannot be removed. There's a 7-mm long deep stylus mark at the end of side 1.Plus, the spindle hole is damaged (like in heavily used records), and the hole is off-axis, so the record budges and the cartridge side-tracks a good centimetre right and left during play. The record sounds terrible: it crackles for seconds like a 70-year old shellac in a few tracks, it's full of heavy clicks and loud pops everywhere. It's shocking to see such a piece of junk packaged like new. Someone returned this record after perusing it, and some fool put it back in a brand new sleeve and repackaged it as new.Unacceptable from Universal, with no excuses. No answer to my complaints.
I_LOVE_228
I have variant with matrix side A- 133278E1/A, 1734128-A and side B - 133278E2/AA, 1734128-Bi bought mine in the mexico yesterday, is made in germany, i would think it was made this year since the import label has date of entry june 8 2018, The record was brand new and sealed, cover looks PRISTINE! but the record when i opened it and took it out of the insert sleeve was covered with scratches, marks, fingerprints, debris embedded in the vinyl, The record sounds terrible, it sounds dull and muddy and i deep cleaned it before i could play it since it was so dirty. I can't believe that Universal is not paying attention to the quality of their pressings, it's a piece of garbage!
Oppebro
Gorgeous pressing! No possible complaints here! Adore Amy and this album on vinyl is perfection.
Thetath
immersed_in_thom Gorgeous pressing! No possible complaints here! Adore Amy and this album on vinyl is perfection. Hello, It seems that the sound of vinyl is bad. Which vinyl version do you speak for having found it good? Thanks for your helpSuiting
fabscf
I am sad that I was unable to get reach of the UK version which had this blues theme. But well, this pressing is nice and I do not know if it is a re-issue. For those who wants to buy this album then know that there are some good tracks mixed with lots of cheerful trumpets which can confuse us like in Just Friends which has a cheerful theme with a dark story. Our Day Will Come and He Can Only Hold Her too have this trumpet theme. Love Is a Losing Game is a blusy soul track with lots of regret, mourning and desperation. Me & Mr Jones which is quite funny with its fuckery. Some Unholy War for me is both and interesting and confusing theme which is for me the prequel of Some Unholy War. Well this is an album that I would recommend specially for those who likes soul!-+
Marinara
I don't know if it is a first pressing or what. I bought it new in 2013 in Maine for 14$. This is a perfect pressing for me. Plenty of dynamics. Big controlled fat bass with no distortion, hissing or sibilance. My tired Rega Carbon (conical stylus) do not reveals any defect and produce clean and large soundstage. One of the best 14$ invested in audio related equipment.
Hrguig
Not sure if the version with the left-side parental advistory sticker is a repress. I think that might be the original. The above version with the small parental advisory sticker on the right is still in print.
Xal
this version has no sticker, it is printed right on the cover under the shrink. review the order of LP records of this release it has been sorted here on Discogs. This is first edition.
Fenritaur
I agree - it's very misleading! There are 2007 issues with small advisory logos on the RHS which are manufactured in the Czech Republic and listed under the 2006 US First Issue page - This is common on the online auctions also. I've checked with several companies selling 'sealed first editions' and they are in fact 2007 US or other - all have the small logo to the RHS. Barcodes and other identifiers are also the same as the original US 2006. At some stage I'll eventually find a sealed 1st.......

A tragic loss I have to agree from a female vocalist who was a cut above the 'pop manufactured x-factor' crap which our ears are bombarded and flooded with. Rather then a typical review on her talent, mine will be about sound quality. I have both editions CD and Vinyl and words cant describe how real the vinyl sounds. Thank U god for Mark Ronson who insisted this album was recorded in the old analog fashion, thus replicating her voice identically (something a cd cant do). People rave on about her voice and how great it was, well my words to u are ''Do her voice justice and listen to it on vinyl as Mark Ronson and Amy intended and close your eyes, it sounds as real her being infront of you.''

Universal Republic Records ‎– B0008994-01 is my pressing was fine when i got it when it come out. It plays perfectly, seems there may be batchs of bad copies. Being a single vinyl expect sound to be lower in volume as the grooves are closer, but its not terrible like stated from others. My set up is pretty high/mid range end(ish) so id defo notice flaws in sound instantly, the speakers would highlight it. Hope the helps
